who was the winner of the last race/contest/award?

The winner of the last contest has been revealed, and it's a worthy recipient. After an intense competition and weeks of suspense, Fiona van Wyk of South Africa was named the winner.

The contest in question was the Work it Out Challenge, a global competition designed to foster creativity among students around the world. The competitors were asked to share a concept or invention that could improve the future of humanity. After receiving thousands of entries from more than 30 countries, Fiona's entry won out.

Fiona van Wyk is a senior at Free State University in South Africa and is majoring in industrial psychology. Her winning idea was the Sensation Station, an interactive machine designed to help people with physical and mental disabilities gain mobility, self-reliance and confidence. The machine uses virtual reality tools that provide sensory stimulation to help disabled users engage in physical activities with better coordination and control.

Fiona earned various rewards for her victory: an Apple iPad Pro, a Roku streaming device, free access to several online courses and educational resources, as well as an opportunity to connect with some of the world's leading innovators for mentorship opportunities. Furthermore, she will have the chance to present her idea at a special event at Microsoft's headquarters in New York City this summer.
